About

sunshine

Welcome!

I’m a reader and a writer, wife and mother, friend and rarely a foe.

This is a blog of about life and living, loving and growing.

Mistakes, blunders, and awkward moments, they are all here in one form or another.  However, so are beautiful stories, intriguing quotes and triumphs of humanity.  If you don’t like one, just wait for the next post, and like the ever-changing weather of the Midwest, you won’t be disappointed.

This blog was started in 2013, as a way to hold me accountable to the creative process and has evolved into a place of my memories and dreams, a keeper of time.  In 2019, it still gives me joy to scribble a story and then to tap it out on the keyboard, one thoughtful word at a time.  So I’ll keep doing it until the technology gets too complicated, the end of days, or I run out of material.  Until then, thanks for visiting and please come again.

P. Bones

That’s a lovely quote about knowing people’s stories dear. Who is Mr Rogers?

Thanks for reading, Auntie Doris. He was a wonderful tv personality with a big heart and an even bigger imagination. I watched reruns of his show after school when I was a kid.

Hi there. I know blog awards are not for everyone, but it’s just my way of saying that I like what you do, especially since I’m not always the best at leaving comments. So, I’ve nominated you for The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. Whether you participate or not, thank you for being an inspiration to me. http://etoithomas.com/the-sisterhood-of-the-world-bloggers-award/

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I wonder about the hoosier sunshine name though. Has not been so sunny here lately! Hope you can come back again sometime and look around.
