About

sunshine

Greetings and welcome!

I am so glad you found your way to hoosiersunshine13.

I’m a reader and a writer, wife and friend, cat lover and nature enthusiast muddling my way through life.

Mistakes, blunders, misconceptions, awkward moments: its all here in one form or another.  However, so are beautiful words, weird stories, meaningless quotes and triumphs of humanity.  This blog was started a place to share and create.  It holds me accountable to the creative process.  It encourages me to take a scribbled story idea on the back of a napkin and transform it into something living, breathing, and considerably more legible.

This is a blog of about life and living, loving and growing.

Mr. Rogers always kept a quote in his wallet that said there isn’t anyone you couldn’t love once you heard their story (as paraphrased from Andrew Stanton, TED Radio Hour).  I hope that once you read these posts, you will love this blog as much as I do and come back again and again.

Thanks for visiting!

P. Bones

That’s a lovely quote about knowing people’s stories dear. Who is Mr Rogers?

Thanks for reading, Auntie Doris. He was a wonderful tv personality with a big heart and an even bigger imagination. I watched reruns of his show after school when I was a kid.

Hi there. I know blog awards are not for everyone, but it’s just my way of saying that I like what you do, especially since I’m not always the best at leaving comments. So, I’ve nominated you for The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. Whether you participate or not, thank you for being an inspiration to me. http://etoithomas.com/the-sisterhood-of-the-world-bloggers-award/

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I wonder about the hoosier sunshine name though. Has not been so sunny here lately! Hope you can come back again sometime and look around.
